Delivery focused Lead Java Developer required to work on a range of high profile integration projects.

This is a customer focused role responsible for the design and implementation of the solution involving hands-on coding as well as mentoring and monitoring the work of core developers to ensure project deadlines are met.

The key to this role is flexibility; flexibility to transfer skills from project to project, move across sectors embracing new challenges and developing new skills on the way.

You will have strong hands-on experience across the full development lifecycle including:

• J2EE (JSP, Servlets, JDBC, EJB, JMS, Struts)
• relational databases (i.e. IBM UDB/DB2 and Oracle)
• multiple platforms (i.e. Windows 2000, AIX, HP-UX and Solaris)
• analysis and design (including techniques/tools such as UML, Enterprise Architect, Rational XDE)
