Experienced hands-on J2EE Architect, ideally from a strong consultancy background, required to play a key role on a range of high profile integration projects.

Working on client site, you may operate as an individual or as an integral part of a multi-skilled team. You will have a proven track record in designing and delivering complex enterprise-scale Java/J2EE solutions.

Your kit bag includes:

• Good Analysis and Design skills (including experience with techniques/tools such as UML, Enterprise Architect, Rational XDE and WBI Modeler)
• First class design skills including the ability to draw up extremely accurate specifications that could be effectively utilised by development teams offshore as well as onshore
• Good hands-on development skills in Java/J2EE and related technologies (JSP, Servlets, JDBC, EJB, JMS and Struts)
• Strong experience of Application Servers (preferably including IBM WebSphere)
• Experience and knowledge of Relational Databases (i.e. IBM UDB/DB2 and Oracle)
• Experience with multiple platforms (i.e. Windows 2000, AIX, HP-UX and Solaris)
• Involvement across the full project lifecycle (to successful deployment)
• Strong understanding of industry trends (i.e. Web Services/Service Oriented Architecture).
